    Rebecca Rogers has taken THE WELL from packaging, through financing & production, and into post at the right hand of Producer Coral Aiken at Aiken Heart Films (2021–2024).

    THE WELL is the highly anticipated narrative debut from Academy Award-nominated director Hubert Davis. The feature premiered at Fantasia Film Festival in 2025, and will be released globally by XYZ Films and in Canada by Vortex Media.

    Mbira Talks premieres at the South African Film Festival Canada on November 17, 2025.

    Mbira Talks provides a rare glimpse into rural life in Zimbabwe and has many universal themes around migration and reclamation and healing of post-colonial trauma. Moyo is part of a movement of Zimbabweans at home and abroad who are reconnecting with their indigenous identity that was lost in the fire of colonialism.

Through the hosts’ nostalgic yet critical take on growing up in the age of the internet, SLUMBER PARTY tries to make sense of the overly mediated lives of its hosts and viewers through video essays, interviews, and sketches.

    A dark-comedy dance short about the Dancing Plague. Frau, a shy young woman in modern-day Toronto, can’t stop dancing. She has to solve the mystery of her dancing mania before it kills her.

    ChoreoMania sees the return of Coral Aiken to the world of dance and directing after a decade of independent producing.

    Rebecca Rogers teams up with her long-time creative collaborator Jackie Batsinduka to bring us a timely horror/thriller about a roommate gone wrong situation.

  • Development Manager, 2025.

    Urgently stepped in for the head of development who went on sudden leave.

    Completing multiple deliveries to funders (including Ontario Creates, Canada Media Fund, Independent Production Fund, and Bell Fund) for projects across development, financing, and production stages.

    Managing development coordinators and interns to support an ambitious slate of TV series (long-form and short-form), across genres including children’s animation, reality TV, dramatic comedy, sitcom, and sci-fi thriller.

    Archipelago goes to camera Fall 2025 on THREAD, a sci-fi/thriller series for OUTtv, and their short DEMONS (dir. Kelly Fyffe-Marshall, AP Rebecca Rogers) will premiere at TIFF50. DEMONS is the short calling card for the series of the same name, created by Preeti Torul.

    Oversaw a slate of drama and genre narrative features and international co-productions.

    Project packaging and financing, including successful Canadian public funding through applications to Telefilm Canada, Ontario Creates, and Canada Media Fund, among others.

    Managed closing and delivery with financiers, distributors, sales agents, and broadcasters.

    Successful Canada Council for the Arts application and Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign, bolstered by a social media campaign.

  • Proposal Writer / Researcher, Social Impact Media Agency, 2019-2021.

    Worked globally with clients across the non-profit, public, and private sectors.

    Researched RFPs and created proposals to bid on large scale video and interactive multimedia projects.

    Successful proposals include gamified eLearning platforms for IOM UN Migraton, World Health Organization, and LiUNA Local 183, as well as instructional videos for Maryland Courts.
